Default Widget Behavior

The embed uses one default response flow. Older language-selector settings are not needed for new installs.

Current Runtime

- older multilingual records still remain readable
- new writes store the "en" value

Welcome Message Format

New chatbot creation and welcome-message updates now store the default en value. Existing older JSON records still work, but new installs should treat en as the source of truth.

Older Language Keys

Do not add these keys to new embed code
- defaultLanguage
- showLanguageSelector
- hideLanguage


Guidance
- use the minimal embed snippet for new installs
- remove these keys when updating older snippets

Why this page still exists

This route is kept so older bookmarks and shared docs links still work. For new installs, use the default behavior described above.
